Music from the 60′s gave us a genre that was unmatched and in my opinion music will never be made the same. I grew up listening to all of the 60′s hits with my grandmother while she taught me how to cook. Her records would never stop playing so naturally I grew up knowing the words to all of the songs, some of them she even taught me to play on piano. I’m a little rusty but I can still catch right up when I sit and play.

My grandmother passed away recently from diabetes, it was along battle that she lost but she told me that my mothers day gift made things easier on her. I bought her the collection set for Time Life’s Pop Memories of the 60′s and I guess she played it on repeat.  Music makes me feel better and I am sure that is why she played these things over and over.  I decided to buy it for her because for 5 years every time I went to visit she would give me lists of music she wanted me to find for her. I spent hours looking for places to download some tracks and also several trips to local stores to buy these songs and could never find anything as comprehensive as Pop Memories of the 60′s.
