Victory At Sea DVDLast week a friend from work gave me a copy of the acclaimed Victory At Sea DVD Documentary. I was extremely excited because I am a history lover and always did well when I took it in school. I thought it was going to be a great save to watch on a rainy day but to my surprise, I loved it so much that I watched the entire 13 hours in only 3 days!

Victory At Sea was created from footage obtained from every country involved in World War II.  It was compiled from over 13,000 sources and has been hailed at one of the best documentaries ever created.  This footage shows you the perspective of the war from all sides and is a great addition to anyones collection.  This makes a great gift for someone like myself, or for someone you may know that finds these things fascinating.

I have included some additional information about the DVD below, however, be sure to watch me video below to see what you will get when you order the DVD.

This documentary consists of 728 mins (26 episodes at 28 mins each), NR, full frame (1.33:1), B&W, thin Nexpak case packaging with slipcase, 4 single-sided, RSDL dual-layered discs (2 discs with 7 episodes each and 2 with 6 episodes each), video introductions for each episode with actor Peter Graves, animated program-themed menu screens with music, episode and scene access (5 chapters per episode – see episode listing below), languages: English (DD 2. stereo and mono), subtitles: none

The famous World War 2 series restored, remastered, and on DVD the very first time. More than thirteen hours of video footage.

The drama of World War II’s thrilling battle at sea is wonderfully comprehensive in this legendary, award-winning historical epic that’s been praised as one of the very most influential documentaries in tv history. The twenty six half-hour episodes have been gathered from over 13,000 hours of genuine combat video footage shot by the U.S., British, German, and Japanese navies in the course of each and every major naval engagement of World War II, from the Nazi Wolfpacks to the Battle of Okinawa. Victory At Sea is narrated by Leonard Graves with original music by famed composer Richard Rodgers, this 1952 series is a landmark classic that nevertheless continues to be one of the most thorough accounts of World War II’s naval battles.

This DVD used to cost HUNDREDS of dollars when it was first released on VHS.  Now you can add this to your collection for only 9.99. What a bargain
