The Fridge Locker as recently featured on PitchMen and the Ellen Degeneres show is a silly new product that is basically a safe for your food, snacks or alcoholic beverages.  I saw this product on TV and started cracking up laughing at the ridiculous video of Anthony Sullivan standing next to an 800 pound Grizzly Bear.  I am not sure if he was actually standing next to the bear while filming or if they used computers to add him in but it was one of them infomercials that will go down in history is HYSTERICAL!

The Fridge Locker is advertised as box that locks with a combination so that you can take your lunch to work without worrying about somebody stealing your food, drinks or snacks.  I don’t know about you but when I go to work I have never really had to worry about anyone stealing my lunch but on an occasion or two I have has a snack taken.  I think that one of my co-workers saw the candy bars and couldn’t resist.

On a serious note, the Fridge Locker can probably be best used to protect children from eating things they are not supposed to. If you have alcoholic beverages in your refrigerator then it is probably smart to put them in something that can stop kids from opening it.  Teenagers always find a way to get at the things that they want but if you have something like the Fridge Locker then unless they have your combination they cannot get at it.

I remember when I was a kid and my mother used to hide her snacks all over the house. When my brother and I were really young, obviously we couldn’t get after things that were high up.  As we grew, we improvised by finding things to climb on and eventually my mother had to start putting things in other places.. which of course we found after a little digging. If I think ahead to when I have children and imagine them putting me through what we put my mother through I get a pretty good laugh.  I think that I am going to keep my Fridge Locker ready and waiting for the perfect use.
