A few years ago I bought a hat from Burberry and it was pretty expensive and I had been saving for it for a long time.  I was pretty disgusted when after only a few months, I saw a seam on it starting to come apart.  Considering how much I paid for it, the hat should not have fallen apart but it was out of my control.  I don’t know much about sewing, but even if I tried I would not be able to repair this hat because of where the seam was when it started to rip.

Since then, I have found a lot of other uses for it around the house. I used it to repair some curtains that one of my cats tore up and it even worked on a pair of sneakers that got ripped when I was doing yard work.
