Shed EnderThe Shed Ender has been around for so many years and I am pretty sure that they haven’t needed to make any improvements to it because it works so well.  I first bought my Shed Ender when I got a cat many years ago. I now use it on all three of my dogs every time I give them a grooming.

The Shed Ender pretty much does what it says.. Stops your pets from shedding. It works by removing all of the hair from underneath the pets coat. All of that hair is just loose and sitting there trapped in your dogs fur and eventually it will end up in your house or your car. Nobody likes having to vacuum every day, I know I don’t!

Using the Shed Ender requires certain techniques to reach it’s fullest potential; this is something the first time dog owners must know. Brushing is best when done along the natural growth of the fur and flipped-up as the stroke ends and Shed Ender is no exception to that. However, to get your dog like it better than the rest, you need to pair it up with a moderately hard, ordinary, nylon bristle brush, for Shed Ender doesn’t scratch the skin that hard usually liked by dogs. Without a little back scratching, some dogs may not enjoy the experience.

The Shed Ender is touted as “the professional de-shedding tool” that removes shedded hair trapped in your pet’s fur. It does work very well and has no drawbasks that we have found.

The Shed Ender looks like a comb with a handle. It is set up pretty nicely. In the commercial, they show the cat and dog sitting prettily while their coats are being brushed to perfection, the excess hair rolling down their backs to fall into a nice, neat pile on the ground.
