Mighty Fix It Repair Tape

They call this stuff Mighty Fix It for a reason. The name says it all. This is one of those things that you thing back and remember a thousand things you could have used it for. Its a miracle tape that can be used to fix anything from a leaky pipe to a damaged car radiator. It does everything they say it does and more.
I do a lot of home improvements on my house, the last one was the kitchen. When I say that I do them it means that I dont hire contractors, my friends and I do them all together. The last one we worked on was the kitchen and lucky for my friends I had a few rolls of Mighty Fix It in my tool cabinet that came in handy.
I have a reverse osmosis water system that runs from under my sink to the back of my refrigerator so that I get 100% pure filtered ice cubes and drinking water. The hose that connects from the RO Unit to the back of the refrigerator is a tiny plastic tube that is pretty thin and I was always afraid it would leak and it finally happened. When we were moving the refrigerator back into place after finishing the new floor my friend accidentally nicked the wire. Because of this water was leaking all over my kitchen floor. Mighty Fix It came to the rescue and permanently stopped the leak. That happened 6 months ago and is still holding strong.
I also was able to use Mighty Fix It to repair a panini maker power cord that one of my dogs chewed when he was a puppy. I never threw it away because it was expensive so i found it in my garage and used this stuff to tape the damaged cord and it works like nothing ever happened to it. Good deal.
Mighty Fix It is not even really tape. It is a flexible silicone that you stretch and then press to seal it to itself. It works like tape but is a hundred times better. One of the best selling features for it is that it doesn’t leave any sticky residue if you decide to remove it someday. All you do it cut it and it comes right off.

You are right! I bought this tape to stop my outside hose from dripping where it connects to the house and IT WORKS!! Not a single leak from the hose which means my basement is no longer getting flooded! Thank you for the review Amy!

I bought this to use around the house and my husband ended up using some of it to stop a leak on his car radiator. This products really does what it says and more. Probably one of the best as seen on tv products ever invented

Lee, I think it can work on gas. Iv’e seen people using it on the natural gas that goes into homes where the gas pipe connects to the hose that connects to the stove so it will do the trick.

I have water cooler that is leaking from the spout. I have contacted the company, however the piece has been discontinued. They were willing to replace the entire cooler, but this was a present to me and the person can’t find the receipt (purchased Dec 2009). My question is can I use this miracle silicone tape on the water spout – I am concerned about contamination. Not really sure where the leak is coming from but this tape will surely plug it up. Thanks much.
